The restaurant CROTTO di GITTANA focuses its attention to rediscovering the flavours of our land and to offering genuine and quality foods.
The cold cuts and cheeses of our valleys, as well as the fresh fish from our lake, are highly selected and proposed both in the old fashioned ways and in new recipes elaborated from our traditions. The majority of our wines comes from biological productions, whereas the meats come from our local stock farms.
The menu a la carte offers typical lake fish, a large variety of meats, local cheeses and sweets.
In the fish tasting menu you can find traditional dishes such as light saused lavaret, twite shad in italian green sauce, fish patè, lightly spicy pennette pasta with lake fish ragout and bitter-sage lavaret with potatoes.
A lot of care has been placed in the selection of the raw materials used, as they directly come from small farms particularly keen on the quality of the products they offer.
